bigstock-Insane-man-smashing-open-a-pig-32053445Forming a corporation or limited liability company affords business owners protection from liability.  However, after forming a corporation or company business owners may be unintentionally and unknowingly exposing themselves to unnecessary liabilities.  There are legal liabilities that business owners and managers can easily avoid.  Follow these 3 rules of thumb.

1. Always put your title and company name after your signature.

2.    Readily identify your company name on all business paperwork.

3.    Enter into contract under your company name and not your own name.
